INOX R-City Mall Ghatkoper & IMAX
Located on the 3rd Floor of R city Mall, INOX Cinema is one of the most Luxurious theatre in the city of Mumbai. The Mall is centrally located and considered as a great hangout with friends and family.
Based on personal experience, this Inox theatre in Ghatkopar West, Mumbai is extremely well maintained with beautiful interior and exterior décor. It has 8 screens in total. Screen 1 is called Lazer & Screen number 5 (IMAX), which is the INOX LASER screen with laser projection.
Inox has 3 types of cinema experiences: Insignia, Atmos and the regular. Though the cost per movie is pretty high here as compared to other cinemas, the movie experience is exceptional. Insignia for example, has a limited sitting with plush recliner and five star luxury experience (you can order food during the film and even ask for blankets if you feel cold).
Some of the amenities worth mentioning at this place are its amazing staff hospitality, Smash gaming zone (an area where you can play video games while waiting for your show) and excellent Cleanliness. The amazing variety of food is also a plus, though it is quite expensive.
IMAX screen in this theatre is huge and the Sound & Picture quality is really good. The screen size is 16.7 × 9.2 meters and viewer can cherish the difference between a 3D & an IMAX movie. Movie goers can always book a weekday show when the prices are little dropped as weekend ticket prices here are too high as compared to other cinemas in Mumbai.
Carnival IMAX Wadala
Carnival Cinemas IMAX in Wadala is one of the biggest theatre in Mumbai in terms of Screen size. The screen size here is 21.2 × 11.8 meters, which is around 20% bigger than all other screens in Mumbai. (FYI: The PRASADS IMAX screen in Hyderabad is the largest 3D screen in India, with 72-foot high & 95-foot wide screen i.e. 21.94 × 28.95 meters)
The customer experience at this theatre is superb with good audio and visual quality. Though 3D video quality is sometimes reported to be not as sharp by some movie-goers but it might be nit-picking as the screen received exceptional ratings.
The Cinema is near to Bhakti Park Mono Rail Station (800m-10min walk) but one might need his personal vehicle to reach or have to hire taxi since there’s little to no options for public transport. Early morning shows are discounted and are a great deals for much awaited movie releases.
The Cinema Hall is a grand 3 storey theatre with 5 Screens. Ground floor Includes Cafe Coffee Day, Mini Clothes Store, Pool Area and In-House Restaurant. It has 11 screens (IMAX and 4DX screens along with the normal screen) and an in-house café. The multiplex itself is conveniently located just 100 m away from the “Seawoods—Darave—Nerul Rly AC Substation”.
The screen size here was around the same as Cinépolis in Thane, with the best sound quality (Dolby) and best screen ratio on the curved screen.
Service standards by theatre staff are beyond expectations, and the multiplex has bright screens, an excellent audio system, and extremely clean surfaces and restrooms. The seating was really comfortable, well-spaced, and well-maintained.
Cinépolis Vivana Mall & IMAX
The screen size at IMAX Cinépolis Vivana Mall is 17.3 x 9.6 metres, offering an audiovisual treat of a true 3D experience. Noiseproofing is good despite multiple screens. Cinema auditorium ambience is great with spacious seating arrangements.
Located on Service Road in Laxmi Nagar, Thane West, Mumbai, Maharashtra, the theatre offers a great cinema experience with vivid, accurate, and detailed picture and audio quality. The picture is very good and a perfect getaway for movie lovers of Thane neighbourhood.
